Adamet
The metal wholesaler Adamet-Niemet replaced the previous storage concept of floor storage and low height racks to storage in cantilever racks from OHRA that are up to 8,570 millimetres high. The load capacity of the cantilever arms is 500 or 600 kilograms, up to 16 storage levels are possible with a rack height of 8,570 millimetres. This not only increased the storage capacity, but also accelerated the storage and retrieval processes and increased the efficiency of production. The flexible, height-adjustable cantilever arms of the OHRA racks also deflect upwards and sideways in the event of impacts. This protects the goods from damage.
Kraft Baustoffe
Efficient, modern and versatile: OHRA implemented a storage system for Kraft Baustoffe GmbH that enables fast order picking and a growing product range. Thoughtfully designed racking and mezzanine solutions ensure optimal space utilization and smooth operations in the building materials warehouse.
Fries
The family-owned company FRIES, one of Germany's leading wholesalers of wood and flooring, has added a customised storage platform from OHRA to an existing hall at its Kiel site. An additional 270 square metres of usable space at a height of 3.8 metres now enables space-saving storage of bulky insulation materials. A new, spacious work area was created under the platform. This enabled FRIES to significantly optimise its logistics and avoid the construction of a new hall – for greater efficiency and sustainable use of existing resources.
Benthack
Building materials retailer Henri Benthack opted for robust cantilever and pallet racking made of hot-rolled steel from OHRA for its new site in Neumünster. They offer higher load-bearing capacities, larger spans and are more resistant to impacts than comparable shelving made from sheet metal profiles. A total of 3,400 storage locations in pallet racking and 1,250 linear metres of storage space in cantilever racking were installed. Visualisation made planning easier. The new shelves increase storage capacity, optimise logistics and minimise material damage.
Kardex
Kardex invested around 930,000 euros in a racking system from OHRA for it’s new dispatch warehouse. This large order comprised nine cantilever racks measuring up to 48 metres long and 8.5 metres high, as well as three pallet racks. OHRA planned and assembled the entire system in just nine months. This meant Kardex could quickly start utilising the new warehouse capacity – and thus continue to implement it’s own customer projects quickly and reliably in the future.
